The critics have slammed her new album, Born to Die, but Lana Del Rey is having the last laugh, selling over 117k of the album in one week  here in the UK, making her obviously, number one on the album chart and the biggest selling album of 2012. Granted there isn’t much competition there as Ed Sheeran who held the top spot last week only sold 20k but still, happy for Lana.

Leonard Choen also scored a new entry on the album chart, coming in at number two with his album Old Ideas, this is the twelfth studio album from the  Canadian singer. While the remaining positions are held by the usual suspects. Click here for a look at the album charts.
