Kylie Minogue has been named the world's most inspirational breast cancer star by the UK based mastectomy-wear specialist Amoena. Kylie won her battle with the disease that causes the deaths of 465,000 women annually in 2006. She was diagnosed in 2005.

Kylie was honored in the list along with the likes of Lynda McCartney, Lynn Redgrave, Olivia Newton-John and Carly Simon plus many more women who have fought their own personal battles.

In regard to Kylie a spokeswoman for Amoena said in a statement "Kylie inspired many women to be more direct about their own fears, encouraging them to believe they would get through their ordeal."
