Bono invested £59 million in Facebook back in 2009 which will make him the richest rock star on the planet when the social networking company floats on the stock exchange. The value of those shares on paper will propel the U2 rocker £189 million richer than the current wealthiest rocker, Sir Paul McCartney.

The shares Bono and his company Elevation Partners bought a mere two years ago have the potential to be worth almost £695 million. Of course, Bono, being the saint he is will put most of that back into his charitable organizations, but I am sure he will be sticking his chest out about it at every given opportunity. I mean seriously , this guy will be President soon.

Bono isn’t of course the only person to reap the benefits of believing in Zuckerworld. Numerous employees who have accepted shares in their company will become instant millionaires too. Nothing like sharing the love, no pun intended.
